Key Responsibilities:
· Maintain plant buildings and infrastructure to improve the work environment.
· Execute all Capex activities within budget and timelines.
· Schedule preventive and corrective civil maintenance activities.
· Organize material and manpower requirements.
· Plan and control spare parts inventory.
· Coordinate with other departments and follow up on material requirements.
· Monitor job quality and avoid repetition.
· Control manpower usage and overtime.
· Utilize surplus inventory and monitor wastages.
· Plan effective use of machinery and reuse spill/waste cement and steel scraps.
· Identify and implement improvement and modification projects.
· Review drawings and specifications, supervise jobs, and verify bills.
· Execute ABOEF activities like 5S, BCE, hygiene, model area, and maintenance practices.
· Recommend procedural amendments for continuous improvement.
· Lead meetings for implementing good practices and conduct internal audits.
· Train team members on reducing repetitive problems and adapting new technology.
· Ensure proper implementation of IMS standards and timely document updates.
· Achieve 100% compliance with safety standards and recommendations.
· Promote job awareness, hazard identification, and safety measure application.
· Conduct routine safety observation rounds and report incidents.
· Lead daily toolbox talks and safety knowledge sharing.
· Participate in safety training, subcommittees, and events.
· Prevent waste of power, water, oil, and air through regular audits.
· Promote health and sustainability initiatives among the team.
