Job description:

Key Responsibilities:

·         Conduct safety observation rounds and CFSA at the workplace.

·         Report near misses, OPL, Kaizen, and hazards (OFIs) regularly and ensure compliance.

·         Implement applicable safety standards.

·         Train staff and workers on various safety topics.

·         Monitor adherence to PTW by site verification.

·         Ensure compliance with statutory safety requirements (e.g., testing of lifting tools, pressure vessels).

·         Drive Safety Behaviour Observation (SBO) to correct unsafe acts.

·         Conduct walk-through inspections (WTI) to identify and rectify unsafe conditions.

·         Investigate incidents.

·         Report in mySetu and extract reports for action points.

·         Organize safety campaigns and events (e.g., National Safety Week, Road Safety Week).

·         Organize safety committee meetings and reviews.

·         Share and monitor RCN, BCN, and OHS Board recommendations.

·         Ensure PPE compliance at the site.

·         Coordinate with safety subcommittees for effective functioning.

·         Conduct safety audits.

·         Organize motivational programs to raise safety awareness among employees and contract workmen.

·         Celebrate Fire Service Day and organize monthly safety theme campaigns.

·         Provide on-site training via mobile van.

·         Develop and implement best practices to eliminate fatality risks.
