Job description:

Key Responsibilities:

·         Complete all scheduled safety observation and CFSA rounds on time.

·         Annually review and prepare HIRA, SOP, and SWP for the section.

·         Report all accidents, incidents, and near misses promptly; conduct investigations as per IISC guidelines.

·         Ensure compliance with applicable RCN/BCN recommendations.

·         Contribute to safety subcommittees, daily walkthroughs, and apex safety meetings to foster a strong safety culture.

·         Manage ISO-50001 documentation including preparation, approval, distribution, and updates.

·         Organize internal and external audits, manage data collection, and prepare meeting minutes.

·         Monitor and close NCRs with suitable corrective and preventive actions within timelines.

·         Ensure compliance with CSI-CO2, GRI-G4, and other sustainability metrics (water, wastewater, noise, WASH).

·         Identify and implement cost-effective energy-saving measures, monitor performance, and develop action plans.

·         Regularly monitor and review the performance of clinkerization and grinding mills, addressing issues and improving efficiency.

·         Review and recommend capex for performance improvement; validate baseline performance and performance guarantees post-installation.

·         Formulate and organize internal award schemes and external award applications, including site visits and audits.

Ensure compliance with emissions and other environmental regulations (NOx, SOx, etc.).
