Commercial & Operations Solutions unit within KONE IT is designing, developing, maintaining and supporting the solutions across KONE’s digital and digitally enabled customer journey – marketing, sales, field service and project delivery and customer service.
Accelerate Digital is one of the four strategic shifts within KONE’s ambitious new strategy for 2025-2030. Accelerate Digital aims to fundamentally transform how KONE does service, by for example reaching significant productivity increase and improved field technician experience through digitally enabled technicians.
You will own the architecture, technical design, configuration, development and design related to our Field Service Management solution (FSM). KONE was the first company in the world to partner with Salesforce on the Field Service Management, and through that co-creation FSM entity is built on top of Salesforce Field Service Lightning solution, combined with custom built mobile experience for tens of thousands of field technicians.
As the Technical Design Lead you will lead and guide internal and external teams in developing and implementing FSM. You are responsible for establishing guidelines and processes, as well as validating and approving all designs. You will work closely also with Product Owners and Enterprise Architects to drive solution architecture, enabling high performance, maintainability, scalability and security.
Main Responsibilities
Own the technical design and solution both for FSM Core and FSM Mobile
Own the solution functionality design as per approved demands, and translate those to IT functional and technical requirements
Defines the optimal configuration with maximal utilization of out-of-the-box functionality vs KONE-specific customization
Support in defining data model and controlling data integrity for the solutions
Support application support teams and KONE service management in problem management
Support FSM license management
Ensure that solution development is in line with business objectives, user needs, target architecture and IT standards & frameworks
Ensure the solution documentation is always up-to-date
Understand the FSM solution big-picture and the target state and it’s role in IT landscape and service business processes.
Qualification
The desired candidate will have
M.Sc. degree or equivalent
Professional experience of minimum 12 years in IT industry, with at least 8 years in Salesforce
Expertise and hands on experience in Salesforce Field Service Lightning and Service Cloud products and their implementation
Expertise and hands on experience in custom mobile architectures
Good knowledge of handling & simplifying Salesforce data integration designs with backend systems like SAP, IoT etc.
Salesforce App Builder and Developer certification(s). Other Salesforce certification(s) are an added advantage
Demonstrated track record of clear achievements from previous positions held
Experience in leadership and matrix organizations
Experience with supplier collaboration / collaboration with development partners
Experience in working in international environment with stakeholders distributed globally
Excellent stakeholders’ communication skills (both written and oral)
Excellent change management, analysis and problem solving skills
Excellent collaboration and communication skills in English
