Job Description
§ A technical leader who documents the overall platform design and helps to analyze the impact of new requirements and ensures alignment with the overall platform architecture and design standards.
§ Provides consultative technical leadership to the platform team
§ Provides consultation in Design, Develop, implement and maintain the CMDB architecture, including data models, relationships, and governance processes.
§ Provides consultation in Design and implement ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping solutions.
§ Provides expertise in building the new integrations and integrations monitoring solutions
§ Creates and maintains a detailed view of the existing architecture, design and configuration
§ Provides architectural controls to ensure the correct technical solutions are used when delivering business solutions
§ Provides technical guidance and serve as an escalation point for the ServiceNow development teams members.
§ Provides technical guidance to the operations team in resolving technical escalations / major defects
§ Leading technical design sessions with the development teams, including the creation of class models, sequence diagrams, component models, data models etc., and detailed design specifications to ensuring that architecture standards are followed.
§ Responsible for defining technical evaluation criteria for product and technology selection and determining technical approaches to ensure all architectural solutions result in a coherent systems design.
§ Work closely with IT teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure CMDB aligns with business needs.
Required Skill Set and Experience:
· 10+ years overall experience and minimum 3 years experience as ServiceNow Architect/equivalent roles
· Strong hands-on ServiceNow implementation or development experience with full cycle implementation of ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, release, knowledge, Asset, CMDB, ITOM and Performance Analytics).
· Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and applications, CSDM, HAM and SAM lifecycle processes.
· CIS-ITSM, CIS-Discovery and CIS-Service Mapping is must. Addition certifications like CIS-EM, CIS-HAM, CIS-SAM certification is an added advantage.
· Experience with end to end ServiceNow and CMDB/CSDM Implementations
· Experience with large scale Discovery/Service Mapping infrastructures. Integrations using web-services and MID server.
· Experience in back-end integration, web services and Cloud interfacing (e.g. JSON, XML, RESTful interfacing)
· Experience with middleware and discovery technologies with ServiceNow Import Sets and Transform Maps.
· Experience in Design and development including full life cycle activities & Domain Separation / configure workflows, forms, scripts and underlying logic using SCRUM / Agile methodologies.
· Very good knowledge of the ITSM process with ITIL V4 certifications
· Exceptional Interpersonal Skills & Ability to work independently and with a team
· Excellent verbal/written communication, collaboration, analytical and presentation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork.
