Job description:

Key Responsibilities

- **Contract Management:** Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure all parties understand their obligations and risks.

- **Claims Letter Preparation:** Prepare and submit claims letters for additional costs or time extensions, ensuring all necessary documentation and justifications are included.

- **Compliance Monitoring:** Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and company policies related to contracts.

- **Risk Assessment:** Identify potential risks associated with contracts and develop strategies to mitigate them.

- **Dispute Resolution:** Address and resolve any contractual disputes that arise during the project lifecycle.

- **Documentation:** Maintain accurate records of contracts, Project delays, amendments, claims, and correspondence related to contract management.

- **Collaboration:** Work closely with project teams, legal advisors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on contract terms and expectations.

- **Reporting:** Prepare reports on contract performance and compliance for senior management and stakeholders.

- **Training:** Provide guidance and training to project teams on contractual obligations and best practices.

Qualifications

 - Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

 - Master’s degree in a relevant field (preferred).

 - Certification in Contract Management (e.g., CCCM, CPCM) is a plus.

Required nature of Experience

Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in contract management within the construction industry.

   - Extensive knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC, NEC) and procurement processes.

   - Proven experience in contract negotiation, administration, and dispute resolution in large-scale construction projects.

 - Strong understanding of legal principles related to contracts, construction law, and project management.

   - Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

   - Proficient in contract management software and MS Office applications.

   - Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously and work under pressure
