Job description:

Key tasks:
• Develop manuscripts to match level-appropriate learning goals for subject specific school textbooks.
• Research competition/syllabus and come up with ideas to create outstanding products.
• Copy-edit and proofread to minimize the number of proofs.
• Cross check and update facts.
• Make illustration briefs for texts
• Work closely with the marketing and sales teams and conduct workshops and product-briefing sessions.
• Adhere to style guidelines and ensure that the content matches those guidelines (ability to recognize and
correct style errors).
• Ability to meet deadlines and strict production goals.
• Demonstrate keen sense of design and develop learner-friendly artwork

• Regional Editorial Team

 

Educational qualifications:
• Postgraduate in physics/biology with a teaching degree from a reputed university.
 

Professional experience:
• Minimum three years in a publishing house as a content creator and editor, teaching experience
would be an added advantage.
• Excellent speaking and writing skills with a keen eye for detail.
• In depth understanding of the latest education policies and guidelines.
