Job description:

What You Will Do

The Developer is responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and testing software solutions for the system. You will research emerging technologies, develop project plans and schedules, and manage internal and external resources to support assigned projects. Additionally, you will provide coaching and guidance to lower level associates within the team and act as a key liaison with internal and external business partners.: 

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop software applications in alignment with the Job Title of Developer and Role of Engineer

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software solutions meet the expectations for the Role with the specified years of experience and education level

Create innovative solutions to complex technical problems while adhering to project timelines and budgets

Continuously improve software development processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and quality

Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development to ensure the Role remains competitive in the market

Design and develop highly complex operating software programming applications using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacturer.

Manage daily operation of IT development through subordinates, ensuring timely delivery of projects within budget.

Provide technical leadership and resource support to project teams, ensuring adherence to IT development standards, guidelines, technology and procedures.

Evaluate proposals and gather requirements with business stakeholders to identify potential problem areas and make appropriate recommendations.

Review and analyze existing applications effectiveness and efficiency, and then develop solutions for improving or leveraging these systems.

Manage communication and provide updates to all management, business sponsors and relevant groups.

Serve as focal point for other departments on product status or other development information.

Ensure that new software and solution integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications.

Evaluate third party products, technology and upcoming trends.

Coach and provide guidance to lower level associates within team.

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field

6-8 years of experience in software development with a focus on designing and developing applications

Minimum 6-8 years of experience in managing a portfolio of multiple large/small programs and support operations, with Agile methodology experience preferred.

University/Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in a relevant field.

Solid understanding of marketing and web technologies with ability to communicate effectively with both business & technical teams.

Desired Qualifications:

Expertise in programming languages such as preferably Python, or any languages like Java, C++

Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Trello

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions

Strong Web Service delivery experience with Web Services technology.

Managing global, cross-functional, multi-disciplined projects and multiple technologies.

Ability to drive resolution for critical issues by bringing in teams together - both internal and external vendors.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Global mindset - ability to work across multiple countries and cultures.
