Job Summary:

We are in search of a skilled Data Engineer with a focus on Azure Data Factory (ADF) and SQL. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust data solutions to support our business analytics requirements. The role involves working closely with various teams to ensure data integrity, availability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and optimize data workflows and pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).

- Create and maintain efficient SQL queries and stored procedures.

- Develop and manage ETL processes to support data integration from multiple sources.

- Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across all systems.

- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.

- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.

- Implement data security and governance policies.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data engineering technologies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- 5-7 years of experience in data engineering or a related role.

- Proven experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and SQL.

- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

- Experience with Azure SQL Database, SQL Server, or other relational databases.

- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with other Azure services (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics).

- Knowledge of data modelling and database design.

- Familiarity with DataOps and DevOps practices.

- Understanding of big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.
