Job description:

·       Handling of operational Issues from process & tools perspective for 5G & new technologies.

·       Technical troubleshooting & resolution of daily operational issues.

·       Knowledge sharing & other initiatives in MS Operations.

·       Support automations-based development initiatives for 5G Operations.

·       Collaborate with different teams IP/MPBN/TX/CORE etc. for resolving issues.

·       Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation, and information sharing.

·       Coordination with Support team for Cases resolution and RCA’s

·       Flexible to work in 24*7 planned shifts including night shifts.

·       Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network architecture, configuration, and troubleshooting procedures.

·       Prepares collects and validates scripts & configurations with focus on accuracy prior to execution to support the plan.

 

You will bring

·       Good Understanding of LTE, NSA and SA architecture for RAN Services

·       Hands ON exposure on Ericsson RAN equipment (enodeb/RNC) for Operations, Troubleshooting, faults rectification & Solution support for UMTS, LTE/5G SA/NSA

·       Hands ON exposure & understanding to 4G and/or 5G associated KPIs & counters.

·       Monitor and analyse RAN performance metrics, including KPIs such as throughput, latency, and call drop rates.

·       Protocol level knowledge with E2E call flow and CTR traces analysis skills.

·       Knowledge and Working experience with Trace analysis tools like LogTool, Wireshark etc.

·       Good Understanding of end-to-end connectivity of telecom nodes.

·       RCA analysis and closure of issue with final solutions.

·       Understanding and experience on various specifications & standards 3GPP, IETF etc. is desired.

·       Knowledge on cloud RAN fundamentals & understanding on 5G use cases.

·       Knowledge and Working experience with Ericsson Indoor Radio Units (IRU) & DOT

·       Handling & troubleshooting of Customer complaints issues w.r.t NW

·       Analyzes, prepares, implements the change activities-configuration changes, upgrades, migrations, and expansions of RAN Node systems.

·       Knowledge of Trouble ticket/CR process.

·       Perform routine maintenance and software upgrades on RAN equipment.

·       Knowledge of Kubernetes and related certification will be an added advantage.

·       Knowledge of Google Cloud will be an advantage.
