Job description:

Build and maintain server-side applications using frameworks like Django, Flask, or API.

Write APIs (RESTful) to connect frontend and backend components.

Design, implement, and optimize database schemas in PostgreSQL (MySQL, MongoDB for +)

Write efficient queries and ensure data integrity.

Implement third-party services like payment gateways, email services, and external APIs.

Optimize application performance.

Implement security measures such as authentication, authorization, and secure data handling.

Create responsive and dynamic user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, etc..)

Handle dynamic content rendering and manage state using frontend libraries or frameworks.

Connect frontend applications with backend services and APIs.

Work closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other team members.

Review code from peers to ensure quality.

Mentor junior developers.

Document application architecture, APIs, and workflows.

Adhere to coding standards, version control (Git), and Agile methodologies (JIRA)

 

The skills you bring:

Minimum 4 years of experience of relevant industry experience

Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science, information technology engineering

At least 4+ years of experience in building large-scale software applications.

Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)

Knowledge of back-end languages (Python), framework like (Django, flask) and their libraries

Familiarity with RESTful APIs

Familiarity with database technologies such as Postgres and (Oracle, and MongoDB for +)

Familiarity with code versioning tools, like Git, bitbucket etc.
