Job description:

Key tasks
• Product Demonstration and briefing to schools
• Planning, Coordinating, Conducting workshops
• Resource Person empanelment for workshops
• Collecting market and product feedback
• Responsible for product training to the Sales team
• Focus on town projects
Key relationships
• Branch Managers, Regional Sales Teams, EPMs in other regions

Qualification and Prerequisites
Graduate, pref. B Ed./ MBA
Excellent Communication (particularly in English)
Open to 14 days travel in a month
Interpersonal Skills:
Good communication skills, high enthusiasm, ability to build knowledge-based rapport 
withcustomers
Ability to quickly understand the curriculum publishing market and the products
A team player but be able to work on own initiative and with minimal supervision
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
 

JOB DESCRIPTION
Mandatory KRAs:
➢ Execution of Marketing plans - Empanelment of Resource persons, workshop coordination, pan
India initiatives
➢ Conducting workshops - focussed and unique City workshops (front list driven)
➢ Product Demos & briefing - making presentations while working with SE to cover their critical
schools; highlighting USPs esp. with respect to competition (with inputs from editorial teams)
➢ Internal Product training sessions for SEs, highlighting new, key and distinguished product features
➢ Product feedback and reviews
➢ Creating and maintaining connect with user institutions
Desirable KRAs:
➢ Knowledge sharing – with other EPMs in conducting Workshops / product presentations
Measurement criteria:
➢ Numbers of RP empanelled, cost of touchpoint, quality of the empanelled resources (feedback
received)
➢ Number of city workshops conducted in a region; feedback received
➢ Number of product demos conducted; feedback received
➢ Number of product reviews; feedback on quality of reviews
➢ Retention/acquisition results in schools where product demos are done by them & schools’
feedback
➢ Number of trainings conducted; feedback received on flow and structure
Reporting
➢ Updation of market news and product feedback on google doc or the system as indicated
➢ Updation of workshops and product demos reporting on MAST
➢ Closure report of calls / cold calls – discuss & agree with RM regarding frequency of reporting –
post every school visit / at the end of day. RM to consolidate and send to respective BM
➢ Learning and implementation of action points from feedback of Line Manager, RH (with inputs
from BM)
➢ Monthly reporting on google doc or the system as indicated
 

Reporting structure:
The role has straight line reporting to Marketing Director (LM); dotted line to Region Head (RH); routine
working relationships with Branch Manager and Branch Sales teams
1. Monthly plan to be created by RH in line with the Region’s strategy by 20th of the previous
month with inputs from Line Manager and to shared and agreed by all on google drive:
• Product presentation / school visit plan – BM to discuss with respective SEs to create
plans for EPM visits; to be finalised by RH in consensus with LM
• Plan for workshops (region / countrywide) to be finalised by LM in consensus with RH
• Proportionate weightage to product demos and workshops – city / pan India; as
discussed and agreed among RH (with inputs from BM) and LM
• Communication of the consolidated monthly plan (with) to be made by RH to respective
BM
2. Feedback forms – EPM to share / follow up with concerned admin to share the workshop
data in excel to HO (can do so using google doc)
3. Travel plans to be entered in monthly calendar (at least 60% should be planned and balance
flexible)
4. Travel plans to be submitted to RH and approved by RH and LM, in case of workshops out of
territory assigned to EPM

5. Absence / change in plan – system updation and email notification to LM and RM; and
inform BM
6. Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of expense claims – to be reviewed by RH and approved
by LM
