We are now looking for a 2nd Level Operations professional. This job role is responsible for monitoring, coordination, support, management, and execution of reactive maintenance activities to ensure that services provided to customers are continuously available and performing to Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance levels. Mostly application/infrastructure monitoring!
You will,
· Support the following systems and functions:
· Monitor production system & ensure its performance and stability
· Action on issues reported by L1/monitoring teams. Coordinate with L3/vendor team for restoration of any faults
· Resolve Trouble Tickets – Resolve day to day customer issues
· Coordinate with IT/network teams to resolve any operational or functional issues
· Be responsible for answering adhoc requests from various teams
· Analyze the Logs and try resolving the issues, escalate issues well in advance and suggest alternative approaches
· Deploy CRs on production environments and ensure smooth system performance
· Follow ITIL processes and exhibit expertise in Incident, Problem and change management
· Ensure SLA compliance for application and trouble tickets
· Proactively carry out self assessment and work on competence development of self in new solution areas & certifications
· Provide an effective 360-degree feedback on the ailing elements in the current solution and co-ordinate with Design team/L3/ Vendor to fix them
To be successful in this role, you must have:
· Experience in web application development and support
· Must have worked in L2 Operations support for minimum 3-4 years.
· Strong hands on knowledge of managing and administering Webservers like Tomcat / Apache for hosting Webservices / Microservices in a on-prim or Cloud cluster setup.
· Good knowledge of Apache Karaf, Elastic Search,Hazelcast,Kibana,Kubernetes,J2EE, EJB, Servlets, Design Patterns, Spring, JSON
· Excellent with OCP, Kubernetes and Oracle WebLogic Server administration
· Hands on exp in Apache Karaf, Elastic Search,Hazelcast,Kibana,Kubernetes ,Tomcat, Apache, IIS
· Good understanding of Webservices (SOAP, REST) and Micro services
· Strong SQL knowledge and stateless databases
· Hands on with deployment and maintenance of web-based applications using standard design patterns and Devops tools like Maven, Jenkins, Sonarcube etc.
· Strong knowledge of Linux and K8s command-line environment
· AppDynamics or Kibana or Grafana or alike monitoring tools experience
· Good hands on with tools like WINSCP, PUTTY, TOAD, Remote Desktop
· Strong learning and time management skills
· Team player capable of working independently
· Good communication skills
· Should be willing to work in 24*7 environment
Good to have skills:
· Should have experience in leading a team of 3-6 individuals in an operations support 24x7 environment
· Basic understanding of telecom domain and other integrated applications like Billing Systems, EAI/ Messaging platforms, Payment gateway
· Should have experience of interacting with
Key Qualifications:
Education: Graduate in Computer Science or similar
Minimum years of relevant experience: 6 years into WebCenter sites & WebLogic Application Server & OCP, Kubernetes administration
