Job description:

Key Qualifications and experience:

A degree in Computer Science, related technology degree, or equivalent experience.

Minimum 3 to 8 years of overall IT experience

2+ years of experience on AWS Glue/python/PySpark

Strong knowledge of AWS Glue/PySpark, relational databases (Oracle/PostgreSQL, SQL Server).

Good understanding of AWS data/automation services – Step functions, Lambda, SNS, SQS.

 

 Technical Credentials:

Development

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze business problems systematically and deliver effective right-sized solutions in a timely manner.

Proven analysis and design/development skills on AWS platforms.

Develop, Test, and Implement the changes following the Software Development Life Cycle methodologies and quality concepts.

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge on AWS – Glue/python/PySpark.

Understanding of AWS data/automation services – Step functions, Lambda, SNS, SQS.

Hands-on experience in ETL projects.

Good knowledge of data warehousing concepts.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience in GIT code versioning tools. 

Strong knowledge of relational database (Oracle/PostgreSQL).

Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle.

Nice to have.

Working knowledge on job scheduling tools like Autosys etc.

Experience in working in an Agile environment.

Certification in AWS.

Experience in PowerShell/Batch scripts.
