Your work profile

As a Manager in our Global Business Tax Team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -

 

·         Managing tax advisory engagements almost independently with minimal supervision

·         Managing delivery of tax opinions / short notes / email responses on day-to-day clients’ tax matters

·         Responsible for tax compliances such as filing of tax returns, withholding tax statements, advance tax, provisioning for income tax and other tax filings such as SFT etc.

·         Managing tax assessment / litigation proceedings before the assessing officer, other income tax authorities and higher appellate forums. This will include reviewing / drafting responses to audit notices & questionnaires, representation before the tax authorities for assessment, rectification, and other matters.

·         Training assistant and deputy managers and executives for their professional development and for creating stronger bench

·         Delivering clients with tax technology assets through licensing and / or internal managed services

·         SPOC responsibilities for end-to-end tax operate engagements

·         Internal client codes management from the standpoint of time logging, invoicing, and collections.

·         Business development including identifying new opportunities and mining existing ones

·         Collaborating with other tax services lines / business functions for multi-disciplinary client requirements.

·         Contributing to firm eminence programs / events

 

Desired qualifications

·         CA-5-7 years’ Experience in Direct Taxation

·         Strong Technical knowledge

·         Analytical skills & conceptual clarity

·         Eye for Details & Innovation thinking

·         Time and cost management skill

·         Managing & Leading a Team

·         Effective communication and presentation skills

 

Location and way of working

·       Base location: Mumbai

·       This profile involves frequent travelling to client locations.
