Job Title:  Associate Quality Analyst/Quality Analyst

Location: Gera Commerzone, Grant Road, Kharadi, Pune

Role Responsibilities:

 

What you will be doing:

Within 3 Months you will:

Get familiar with our technology stack. Our applications are continually deployed on Cloud Foundry using Concourse.

Get familiar with, and take part in, the team’s agile processes and ceremonies.

Get familiar with end to end processing all the modules

Support QA test cycles to include Manual and Automated testing of Web-based applications

By 3-6 months you will:

Be a supportive member by debugging test failures to identify the root cause and resolution.

Contribute to new automated tests (Pref: Selenium – Java Web-Based Testing)

Have an understanding of the team's context within the publishing business they are working in.

Proactively raise technical risks and suggest mitigation measures against them

Contribute to new automated tests and provide maintenance

Collaborate with Dev, QA, Product Management, and all key stakeholders

By 6-12 months you will:

Proactively provide useful and actionable feedback to team members.

Proactively raise technical risks and suggest mitigation measures

Own and drive the qualification of new product features to include the development of tests, tools, and processes

Execute testing to support ongoing release cadence

Report and manage bugs for closure

Full responsibility for product quality

Support Product team deliverables

About You:

1 - 5 years’ experience designing and implementing automated test cases for new requirements as well as enhancing scripts to improve code coverage.

Hands-on Java Programming skills & OOPS concepts.

Excellent working knowledge of Agile/Scrum processes and implementing strong quality processes

Experience in API testing

Mandatory skills: Java and Selenium

Good to have: BDD Cucumber, Jenkins
