You will become part of the team committed to delivering an enterprise platform solution for PLM. Your role in our team will play a vital role by delivering solutions to our Product Teams working on the PTC Windchill platform. Your engagement with the teams is key and you will work with some of our most experienced and skilled architects. You will share the responsibility for high technologies and solutions with the rest of the team where the focus constantly is on quality, performance, and value. The PLM Platform is part of Vestas Digital Solutions division which delivers digital solutions to the Vestas organization and customers. PLM Platform plays a crucial role in Vestas' system landscape by securing our Product Data is captured, maintained, and delivered to the value chain. We interact with the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Platform, Integration Platform, and most importantly with a range of Product Teams (IT) working across the different platforms. We are as a platform investing in optimizing our methods and capabilities to support the different product teams. With the aim of improving our quality, time-to-market, and end-user satisfaction we are looking for a PLM Platform Engineer (IT) that can support us in delivering the best possible experience on our platform for the Product Teams. Our responsibility is to ensure any releases to our platform are done without impacting reliability and performance. We are also responsible for ensuring that our platform is utilized correctly to benefit the end-2-end process of maintaining the product lifecycle. You will join a team of architects, specialists and consultants which build the industry standard on how to maintain a PLM platform. Responsibilities

As an engineer on the Platform, you will play a vital role in developing customizations together with developing and maintaining our pipeline management.  JAVA / JavaScript Development on Windchill and ThingWorx Platforms:

 

Dive into the heart of our PLM systems, crafting robust solutions using your expertise in JAVA / JavaScript development

Collaborate closely with stakeholders to enhance and optimize the Windchill and ThingWorx platforms

Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications that empower our global team

Agile development methodology:

Understand Agile development methodology and apply in our windchill platform and product development

create and maintain ant build script which can be incorporated into our azure pipeline

 

Qualifications

Minimum of 5-8 years in similar roles, specializing in PLM systems, JAVA development, and Azure pipelines. 

A master's degree in IT or a related field is essential. 

 Proficiency in spoken and written English is necessary.

 

Competencies

JAVA / JavaScript: Mastery in JAVA / JavaScript programming, with a focus on enterprise applications.

 Windchill and ThingWorx: Highly skilled with these platforms and their customization.

Experience  in GIT and ANT Script.

Experience in agile development

Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset to tackle complex challenges.
