About this opportunity:
This job role can be encouraged yourself to analyses, resolve, implement, verify the configuration, and support field team for the DWDM & Microwave device. The scope could cover the scenarios of new network and service troubleshooting and resolution.
What you will do:
· Acts as the customer concern point for activities demanding a level of technical expertise as a 24/7 capability!
· Actively monitor ticket queues to ensure timely response to tickets!
· Out of business hours, Domain Support Specialist is triggered on the on-call phone by Automated Operations.
· Focused on improvement of automated recovery.
· Ensure that the services provided to customers are continuously available and performing to Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance levels.
· Performs analysis to proactively detect possible failures. This shall ensure incident restoration and repair because of its own analysis or when prompted by MS Automated Service Function processes.
· Act to meet the service or resource requirements, in the cases in which an overall and higher-level network knowledge is required or when knowledge on specific products or services is required.
· Remote troubleshooting on DWDM, OTN, Optical on SIAE / Huawei devices and Ericsson Microwave.
· Detail understanding of Fixed Line Telephony with hands on experience on Huawei & SIAE fixed line telephone exchanges
· Collaborate closely with field technician for all field activities (hardware installation, fiber termination/swap, onsite troubleshooting, and fix action).
· Responsible for analysis & rectification of critical/non-critical Faults and alarms.
· First point of contact for resolution of any alarm/event/KPI related issues.
· Handling Configuration Support & fault analysis.
You will bring
· Must be a quick learner with a positive attitude, team player and good individual contributor with collaborative skills.
· Knowledge of routing protocols BGP, IS-IS, L2VPN & VRF.
· Working experience of configuration network having BGP, MPLS, L2VPN.
· Troubleshooting of faults related to hardware, configuration, service quality & service impact/outage.
· Experience in troubleshooting of services outages and restoring within defined SLA duration.
· Comfortable in performing change requests as per designed MOP.
· Able to investigate and fix recurring faults/problems.
· Good knowledge of MS Office tools like Excel, word, Power Point etc.
· Knowledge of Microwave, DWDM & ASON is a plus.
· Routing & switching professional certification and OEM certification is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering,Telecommunications,or related field.,• Experience of 3+ Yrs in DWDM & MW,with a focus on wireless communication systems using Ericsson & Huawei equipment.,
