A notable initiative is "Anubhuti," meaning experience, launched by the Disability Employee Network (DEN) Employee Resource Group (ERG). This apprenticeship program, developed in partnership with organizations like Tata Consultancy and ABBF, is designed for individuals with disabilities.
Selected candidates serve as apprentices with Dow India for up to 12 months, focusing on applying their skills in a corporate environment. This initiative not only boosts their confidence but also familiarizes them with global work processes, though it does not guarantee employment.
To date, four visually impaired candidates have successfully completed the program and are now employed, exemplifying Dow's commitment to creating opportunities for people with disabilities.
