Optum ensures that women employees are set up for career growth from the start. The Women in Leadership (WiL) program builds a pipeline of women leaders. To specifically support gender diversity in tech, the United Women Leading in Technology (UWLiT) forum helps advance women into leadership roles and the UHG Invention and Women Invent provide end-to end support to patent their work. Through the Women LEAD – India, (ERG) women employees can connect, find inspiration, and be empowered to achieve success.

LiveWell offers maternity and post-partum support with the CareNine and CareNine beyond programs that have benefitted over 1200 mothers. RaiseWell program helped over 4,000 women employees by engaging their children in virtual sessions. Women employees and their dependents are offered free annual health checks, nutrition consultations and expert sessions. The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) helpline additionally provides confidential counselling to team members and their families.
