Colleague networks play a vital role by fostering communities and enhancing belonging. With over 24,000 employees involved in Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), these networks help address the unique challenges faced by diverse groups and provide valuable insights into employee sentiment.
The ""Your View"" surveys further gauge employee experiences, focusing on aspects such as Values and Mindset, including a ‘speak up’ culture. One key metric, the Inclusion Index, reflects the effectiveness of these initiatives, showing a year-on-year increase of 1 percentage point, reaching 83% in the Autumn 2023 survey.
Through these efforts, Barclays demonstrates its commitment to an inclusive workplace that empowers all employees.
